Hunting House Grand Opening

On Friday, September 18, the Hunting House Art Gallery opened its doors for the first time. The event was well attended by the Orono and University of Maine communities. The Drive By Press of New Jersey also were able to make an appearance and produce custom silk screen prints for attendees. Most of the artists in the show, such as Alex Carlisle, Andy Collins, Leander White, Ray Webster, Ben Braley, and Natale Squilante were also able to attend and discuss their work.

The Hunting House would like to send a special thank you to Black Bear Brewery of Orono for supplying a delicious keg of their Pale Ale. The Brewery is located on 19 Mill St. in Orono, and they are currently selling Growlers and offering tastings on Thursday afternoons.

The next opening will take place on October 23, and the gallery is currently accepting work for that show.
